Demonstrated ability to address equity gaps through culturally responsive teaching and curriculum design. Understanding of HSI designations and their impact on instructional practice. Example of Duties GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Part of the teaching assignment may be online, in the evening, and/or on Saturdays.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching lower-division college courses across the full range of core ELTEC offerings, including electrical theory, automation systems, PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, industrial electronics, wiring, and safety. Advancing equitable student learning through high-quality instruction aligned with established course outlines. Informing students of course requirements, evaluation methods, and attendance expectations.

Preparing and grading assignments, assessments, and examinations. Maintaining accurate attendance, scholastic, and other records according to district policy. Developing, assessing, and improving student-learning outcomes at the course and program level.

Engaging in data inquiry and self-assessment to support student success and equity. Participating in required professional development and FLEX activities. Maintaining professional conduct and modeling industry-standard safety practices.
