Position Description

The Preventative Maintenance Technician at Applied Medical plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment used to produce life-saving medical devices. This position supports the safety and effectiveness of products delivered to healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and other manufacturing equipment according to factory requirements and established schedules.
  • Execute maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts to maintain equipment performance per factory recommendations.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately, including dates, tasks performed, parts used, and observations.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring and replenishing spare parts and supplies used to minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

  • Maintain equipment reliability through timely and thorough preventative maintenance.
  • Reduce downtime by identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact production.
