Job description

Location: Manhattan & Brooklyn, NY

Position Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician to support residential properties across Manhattan and Brooklyn. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems such as access control, key fob readers, intercoms, security cameras, and electronic door locks. The technician will work closely with building management and vendors to maintain building security and access systems.

Work Schedule
• Weekly visit to the primary site at Upper East Side
• Additional support across properties in Manhattan and Brooklyn
• Must have reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle to travel between job sites as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Install and support access control, intercom, and security camera systems
• Troubleshoot electronic door locks, control panels, and connectivity issues
• Assist with configuring and maintaining security camera platforms
• Work with building managers and vendors to resolve system issues

Required Skills / Experience
• Basic exposure to low voltage systems, security cameras, access control, or intercom systems
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new systems
• Comfortable working across multiple locations

Preferred
• Experience with CCTV/IP cameras and access control panels
• Background in building technology or security systems is a plus
