Position Overview:

LX Pantos America, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foreign Logistics Planner to join our Freight Forwarding Operations team. This full-time position offers hands-on involvement in U.S. logistics operations, focusing on import freight coordination, inland transportation, and customer service. The role provides a dynamic environment for individuals interested in developing a long-term career in global logistics and supply chain management.

As part of our operations team, the Foreign Logistics Planner will be responsible for coordinating import shipments, communicating with carriers and warehouses, and ensuring the timely and accurate movement of cargo. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import freight forwarding operations, including booking, documentation, and delivery scheduling
  • Monitor and track inland transportation activities from port to warehouse
  • Communicate daily with carriers, warehouses, and overseas origin teams (particularly Korea) to ensure service accuracy and timelines
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to transit time, cost tracking, and damage claims
  • Maintain shipment data and performance metrics using Excel and internal logistics systems
  • Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve logistics issues



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude may be considered)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or TMS platforms is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English strongly preferred, as the majority of import coordination involves Korean origin shipments
