Logistic Support Specialist

BizTek People is in search for a Logistic Support Specialist for our client in Portland, OR! Schedule type: 5 days per week, 8 hours per shift, overnight Shift time: 22:00 (10:00 PM) - 06:30 (6:30 AM) the next day Benefits: Dental, health, vision, 401k Job Summary This role supports a healthcare logistics team by ensuring customers receive the supplies and services needed for effective clinical operations. Responsibilities include warehousing, medical supply delivery, inventory support, POU machine maintenance, and linen distribution. The position regularly communicates with customers to identify and resolve issues and may serve as a backup lead. Reports to Logistics Managers. Key Responsibilities Perform receiving, stocking, data entry, picking, delivery, and related tasks to ensure timely and accurate supply distribution. Restock and maintain scrub dispensers and linen chute rooms to ensure availability of scrubs and linens. Conduct preventive maintenance and restocking of Pyxis/ParEx supply systems to ensure accuracy and proper patient charging. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment; report facility or equipment deficiencies. Follow departmental policies, safety procedures, and maintain familiarity with MSDS resources. Drive organizational vehicles when assigned; complete vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and assist with basic maintenance and refueling. Support recall processes by reviewing recall notices with the recall coordinator. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment May require handling soiled linen, hazardous materials, and working in varied environmental conditions (weather exposure, noise, dust, vibrations, slippery surfaces). Safety precautions must be followed at all times. Qualifications Education Ability to read and write English and perform basic math. Preferred: High school diploma or GED. Experience Entry-level experience in retail, warehouse, or inventory operations. Training or experience with inventory control systems and shipping/transportation methods. Strong conflict-resolution and time-management skills.
