HR Coordinator

Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resources Coordinator is an entry-level, developmental HR role designed to build foundational HR knowledge and practical experience in a fast-paced distribution and repair center environment. Based in West Memphis, AR, this role will primarily focus on leading and supporting HR projects across multiple sites, partnering with HR and operational leaders to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and ensure consistency in HR practices.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of HR disciplines while supporting strategic initiatives, organizational changes, compliance efforts, and employee-facing process improvements. Based on business needs and individual performance, the role may include rotational assignments and expanded responsibilities across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

HR Projects & Process Improvement

  • Lead and support cross-site HR projects focused on process standardization, operational excellence, employee experience and engagement.
  • Conduct reviews of HR policies, procedures, and practices across multiple locations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to harmonize processes and recommend improvements that support business objectives.

Organizational Change Support

  • Coordinate efforts to update and maintain job descriptions in support of organizational design and restructuring initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure position documentation accurately reflects roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships.
  • Assist with communications and administrative activities related to organizational changes.

Timekeeping & Workforce Administration

  • Support the implementation of changes to timekeeping processes and practices.
  • Develop and coordinate training materials, communications, and education plans for leaders and associates.
  • Assist with deployment activities, feedback collection, and ongoing process refinement.

Information Management & Employee Resources

  • Lead efforts to evaluate and improve HR filing structures, document management practices, and information accessibility across multiple sites.
  • Ensure HR records and resources are organized, current, and easily retrievable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the way HR information is shared with associates, including hourly team members.
  • Support the development of associate-friendly resources, guides, and communication tools.

Cross-Site Collaboration

  • Partner with HR teams, supervisors, managers, and site leadership across West Memphis, Walnut Ridge, and Mount Prospect.
  • Build relationships and gain understanding of site-specific operations while promoting consistency in HR practices.
  • Participate in rotational development opportunities as assigned.

General HR Support

  • Assist with employee communications, onboarding activities, engagement initiatives, and administrative HR processes.
  • Support HR compliance activities and auditing efforts as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and project work assigned by the HR team.
Your Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Data Analytics, Statistics, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop training materials, process documentation, and employee communications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders, salaried employees, and hourly associates at all organizational levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, or prior experience in Human Resources, Operations, Project Management, Business Analytics, or Process Improvement.
  • Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of workforce management, HRIS, timekeeping systems, and document management processes.
  • Experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI to analyze workforce, operational, or HR-related data.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and data analysis techniques used to support business decision-making.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies, to improve productivity, create communications, analyze data, streamline processes, and support project execution.
  • Exposure to change management, organizational design, or business transformation initiatives.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to 75,000.
