Purpose of Your Work:

As a Logistics Engineer, working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for transforming client and prospect data into usable tools and decision support to drive growth and client retention. You will collaborate directly with clients, prospects, and the Redwood Sales and Solutions teams to develop best-in-class solutions.

Your role will help bridge the gap between our data-driven technology and clients' needs by combining your deep engineering expertise with your client-facing skills to design, implement, and communicate innovative solutions.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to gather and analyze data, using the results to create and present compelling, cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain client and prospect analytics infrastructure through Tableau, MG Edge, Excel, and OTM.
  • Model, price, and optimize complex, multi-mode transportation networks using decision support and network modeling tools.
  • Ability to review data and determine gaps, questions and actions needed, including facilitating those actions with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data validation and integrity.
  • Conduct ah-hoc analysis and provide decision support for client projects.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technological trends and identify opportunities to enhance our solutions.

You’ve Got This?

  • Bachelor’s degree, passion for technology, and a desire to learn and grow
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Exposure to BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Looker, etc…). Exposure to SQL driven tools (IE-Access). Exposure to network modeling tools a plus (Anylogistix, Llamasoft/Coupa, Supply Chain Strategist, etc.)
  • An understanding of transportation modes a plus

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Compensation Range:

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000

This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
