Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help support hiring a variety of roles in our business, including intern and new graduate hiring, hourly/craft workforce and administrative and support services functions. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional with a few years of experience who is looking to grow their end-to-end recruiting skills. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with hiring managers, company leadership and external partners to attract, engage and hire top talent for Massman.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring for assigned roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand immediate and upcoming office and project staffing needs
  • Post and manage job requisitions across internal systems and external job boards
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process
  • Prepare and extend offers in partnership with hiring managers
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the interview, offer and onboarding process.
  • Support and coordinate the campus recruiting program, building and maintaining university contact relationships to support sourcing qualified candidates
  • Plan and execute career fairs, campus events and recruiting outreach efforts.
  • Manage internship and entry-level job postings and student candidate pipelines
  • Develop communication and social media strategies to increase engagement with and awareness of Massman Construction Co.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and offer acceptance
  • Assist with recruiting process improvements and hiring initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in recruiting or recruitment coordination
  • Experience coordinating recruiting events
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting workflows
  • Ability to travel to career fairs during spring and fall recruitment seasons


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, skilled trades or industrial recruiting
  • Experience with campus recruiting, internships or early-career hiring
