The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Operations Assistant to join our team at our Port Washington headquarters. This is an exciting entry-level role, ideal for someone who is data driven and eager to learn the ins and outs of the furniture industry.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Work with internal teams, retailers, and national carriers to support daily shipping operations
  • Provide logistical support between retail partners and carriers to help ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Monitor and manage retailer and carrier portals for order updates, shipment tracking, routing, and issue resolution
  • Assist with shipment audits, tracking requests, delivery delays, and transportation-related inquiries
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Support client communication by providing timely, professional responses
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and related documentation
  • Support the operations team with administrative and data entry tasks related to shipping and logistics
  • Learn retailer routing requirements and transportation procedures through hands-on training

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Compensation:
