To support this mission, we are seeking a Sr. Windows Systems Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Windows infrastructure across on-premises and remote environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, resilience, and availability of critical systems that support day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will drive system provisioning, automation, monitoring, patch management, and security initiatives while ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices. In addition, this individual will serve as a senior technical resource, providing advanced troubleshooting, mentoring, and operational support to maintain a secure, scalable, and highly reliable technology environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Provision, configure, administer, and maintain Windows-based systems.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and overall system health.
  • Perform system patching, backup, recovery, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Implement and maintain system security controls and support compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
  • Follow established change management processes and procedures.
  • Provide Tier 2 support and escalation assistance to the Help Desk team.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous technical support and/or customer service experience.
  • Experience administering and supporting Active Directory, IIS, and Windows Server environments, including system configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, patch management, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience supporting Windows security practices, including PCI/SOX compliance, intrusion detection/prevention, filtering, and auditing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon, and storage administration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and maintain professional working relationships across departments and teams.

Please Note: This is an onsite role located in Columbia, Missouri.
