About the Role: 
 
We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator to oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including user devices (Mac, Windows, Linux), WiFi networks, printers, and authentication systems. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in identity and access management across multiple platforms, ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Administer user authentication systems across platforms like Google Workspace, Okta, NetSuite, and
    Salesforce.
  • Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and role-based access
    control (RBAC) across company systems.
  • Perform periodic reviews of user access and permissions to ensure compliance with organizational
    policies.
  • Monitor device compliance with security policies, applying updates, patches, and configurations as
    needed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to endpoint security, including malware, unauthorized access, and
    system vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze logs from cloud platforms and endpoint systems to detect potential security breaches or
    suspicious activity.
  • Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up new devices and
    decommissioning old equipment.
  • Train employees on proper use of company IT systems and security best practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and access policies.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and best practices for reference.
  • Generate regular reports on IT infrastructure performance, usage, and security compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including laptops and desktops (macOS, Windows, Linux), WiFi networks, and office peripherals.
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems and authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and 2FA.
  • Familiarity with security and endpoint management tools, such as Jamf, Intune, or VMware Workspace ONE.
  • Strong proficiency in operating system administration (Windows, macOS, Linux) and associated management tools.
  • Solid understanding of network configuration, routing, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security, data backup, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for system administration and efficiency improvements.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience managing cloud-based identity providers such as Google Workspace and Okta.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platform administration, including NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Working knowledge of MDM and compliance monitoring for device fleets.
