Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a smart and independent Helpdesk Administrator to join our Systems team. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations and resolve hardware issues.

As a Helpdesk Administrator, your responsibilities may include:

  • Resolving trouble tickets for Linux and Windows users
  • Deploying Windows and Linux desktops
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts
  • Repairing and upgrading hardware including desktops, servers, laptops, printers, and scanners
  • Racking and stacking servers
  • Researching materials for orders through vendors
  • Providing front-line user support with minimal supervision
  • Managing and maintaining on-site inventory
  • Keeping data centers and shared spaces clean and organized
Qualifications


You should be motivated to find the best solutions to problems of all sizes, whether they require visiting data centers or crawling under desks. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid knowledge of PC hardware and computer internals
  • Deploying Windows and Linux desktops
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts
  • Repairing and upgrading hardware including desktops, servers, laptops, printers, and scanners
