Job description

 


We are seeking a Customer Service Representative at our office in Orlando, FL. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide assistance to customers over the phone and in person at the branch. If you meet our qualifications and have an interest in the following responsibilities, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and assisting walk-in customers
  • Communicating material delivery information and all changes in delivery times and materials to customers
  • Entering orders and quotes electronically and promptly
  • Ensuring the accuracy of pricing and quantities for orders and quotes
  • Preparing delivery tickets and establishing lead times for orders
  • Coordinating truck for on-time delivery of materials        
  • Auditing truckloads before deliveries  
  • Making sales calls to current and prospective customers 
  • Coordinating with the sales team to fill light truckloads with additional materials
  • Recording and auditing customer issues and concerns
  • Inventory control
  • Assisting with various administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous building material or construction experience
  • Detail-oriented and service-driven
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
