Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and become a Cyber Operations Specialist (17C), you’ll use your cyber security skills to defend the Army’s crucial and complex weapons systems, which include satellites, navigation, and aviation systems against both foreign and domestic cyber threats. You’ll maintain dominance in both offensive and defensive cyberspace operations and respond to adversary attacks, while enabling commanders to gain an advantage in cyberspace by targeting adversary activities and capabilities. This is not a civilian contractor position. 
No experience necessary.  Position is entry level. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card;
  • 17 to 34 Years Old;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines;
  • No Major Law Violations;
  • No Medical Concerns.

TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS: 
  • 105 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available;
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training;
  • 45 weeks of Advanced Individual Training;
  • 110 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT);
  • 112 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST).
