Position Overview

In this role, you will manage and support an existing portfolio of life insurance clients while actively identifying opportunities to grow the agency through referrals, networking, and community engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients assess their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions to protect their families, businesses, and financial futures.

This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who enjoys building lasting relationships, delivering exceptional service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an existing portfolio of life insurance clients.
  • Conduct annual policy reviews to ensure coverage remains aligned with clients' changing needs and goals.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, beneficiary updates, and claims assistance.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Insurance Sales & Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell life, living benefits, disability, and other insurance solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses and provide recommendations tailored to each client's financial objectives.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and proactive prospecting activities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Financial Protection Planning
  • Educate clients on the importance of life insurance and related protection products.
  • Present customized insurance solutions that help clients achieve their protection and financial goals.
  • Guide clients through the application and underwriting process from start to finish.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate client records and manage activity within the agency CRM.
  • Ensure all client interactions, applications, and recommendations meet regulatory and company compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • Active Alberta Life Insurance License (required).
