POSITION OVERVIEW
The Life Skills Coach position is a key role in which staff train students to live more independently. You will work in a college residential setting after classes and on weekends to teach real-life skills and promote a fun college experience for the students.
This is a 2nd-shift and weekends position. A full-time schedule typically includes four 6-hour weekdays shifts and one 14-hour weekend shift (with 1-hour paid break).
Current Available Shifts:
Sunday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Monday: 2:50 PM to 9:00 PM
Thursday: 2:50 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Saturday: 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support students with IDD in a college residential setting at an 8:1 student-to-staff ratio
  • Train students in cooking, cleaning, safety, time management, and social behavior to promote independent living
  • Build positive working relationships with students to foster growth and development
  • Complete communication and documentation to promote effective team collaboration
  • Take students on off-campus activities to provide a great college experience
