About Us
Reflex Performance Resources Inc., a global sourcing company specializing in the manufacturing and sales of activewear, athleisure and sportswear, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our New York City team. This is a full-time, in-office role supporting our design department in delivering innovative collections across multiple brands.

Position Overview
The Junior Designer plays a critical support role within the Design team, helping with line sheets, CADs, color libraries, and presentation materials. This position is ideal for an organized, fast-paced junior designer who wants to learn the ins and outs of activewear design while building technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update line sheets for the Design team and buyers.
  • Prepare CAD sketches and technical flats in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Maintain and update the digital color library.
  • Assist with Pantone chip selection and physical color card creation.
  • Organize seasonal samples and fabric headers.
  • Support designers with trend research and innovation tracking.
  • Print artwork for factories and assemble fabric cards.
  • Assist with meeting preparation and presentation materials.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to ensure design calendars are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required; Photoshop a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms; Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Demonstrated skill in creating technical flats in Illustrator.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with apparel production/manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
