Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand clients' mental health needs, developing accurate clinical diagnoses and effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions—individual, group, and family therapy—utilizing various evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients facing acute mental health challenges, offering immediate support and stabilization strategies as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights throughout the process.
  • Commit to professional development by staying updated with the latest therapeutic practices through ongoing training, workshops, and participation in relevant professional organizations.
