Reports to: General Manager 
Based at: Aurora Corporate Office

Join our dynamic team at Aurora Corporate Office as an Entry Level Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of landscape maintenance equipment. Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment such as trucks, trailers, mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, aerators, trenchers, and snow plows.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Source and order necessary parts and materials.
  • Identify root causes of major repairs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with management and field personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Demonstrate ethical behavior and promote company culture.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply and maintain personal tools for the job.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of equipment operations such as skid steer, loader, and snow plow truck.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, write legible reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Capability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Physical ability to work in confined spaces, lift up to 100 pounds, and endure various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to operate a cell phone.
