Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Engineering, is hiring an entry level Land Surveyor for our Northern Virginia Professional Services Group based in Stafford, VA. You will work as part of our team performing land surveys for various construction projects. The position has the opportunity for advancement to learn the skills required of a Land Surveyor.
Duties
  • Assist the field supervisor with all aspects of the daily crew workload
  • Ensure safekeeping of survey equipment
  • Ensure that vehicles are supplied and kept in an orderly fashion ready for duty
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills and Experience
  • Some experience in land survey preferred however not required
  • Demonstrated strong mathematical and communications skills
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrain
  • Ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 pounds, ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
  • Able to work overtime as required

Starting pay rate for this position is $20 / hour.
