Job description

Job Title

The Customer requires services to assist in the application design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of their Digital Recording System and Application Processing Systems. Work will focus on application enhancements and updates to their Digital Recording System for networked locations but may include work on other systems as they interface with the systems aforementioned. The essential function of the staff augmentation contractor(s) within the organization will be to support, develop and maintain applications using LAMP stack, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and various database platform integration. Candidates with knowledge/experience with Cloud technologies, and Enterprise architecture will be given preference. All development will occur within the Office of Information Technology’s operating environment and conform to its formats and standards.

Preference will be given to Vendors whose candidate resumes include the following additional knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in addition to the State Term Contract requirements:

Knowledge and experience in LAMP stack. Knowledge and experience in any of these technologies - Laravel/Symfony/Entity Framework, MVC, Azure DevOps, PHP, C#, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle databases. Experience in the use of Git Hub or Team Foundation Version Control. Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environment. Troubleshooting and correcting application bug issues; ensuring data integrity; providing customer functional and technical support and training as required.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • Knowledge of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP).
  • Knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Knowledge of Git or TFS.
  • Knowledge of Relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle).
  • Knowledge of SOA, Microservices.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory authentication.
  • Knowledge of application design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of emerging/modern technologies (Cloud, AI, Machine Learning)
  • Ability to implement security constraints within the development process.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical data.
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems.
  • Ability to evaluate and resolve user problems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Required Skills: PHP, Javascript Additional Skills: Web Developer, Software Developer. This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
