This entry-level lab position isa great opportunityto learn and grow within the field. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and ready to be part of a collaborative team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to take direction are essential.

A caregiver in this position worksfull-time| days + calls| 7:00am-3:30pm

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Retrieve, sort, track, verify receiptofand deliver specimens.

  • Comply withsafety SOP & regulations.

  • Perform basic clericalandproblem-solvingfunctions.

  • Maintainappropriate documentation.

  • Communicate and document essential information.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Six months ofpatient careexperience

  • EPIC experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to perform specimen handling techniques and to take measurements

  • May require extended periods of standing, walking and/or sitting.

  • Handles and transports bio hazardous materials.

  • Visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors.

  • Must have normal or corrected vision.

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as defined in the exposure control plan.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.95

Maximum hourly: $25.50
