Photolithography Lab Supervisor

Pay Range:

$20-23 /hourly + 10% shift differential

What you will be doing:

  • Work hands-on in a fast paced clean room environment, utilizing equipment and chemicals to perform photolithography works.
  • Assist in the development and execute photolithography processes to meet customer specifications & manufacturing process flows from customer requirements.
  • Cleaning, etching, plating and patterning substrates in both manual and semi-automated photolithographic processes.
  • Will work with various type of photo-resist and chemicals, perform developing and plating processes, utilize semi-automated and manual etching processes, pattern aligners, and x-ray, alpha-step, beta scope, and microscope-based measurement tools to manufacture a wide a variety of thin-film products.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner, as well as other reasonable duties as assigned.
  • Works with chemicals and associated hazardous waste.
  • Frequently required to lift chemical bottles weighing between 10 and 20 pounds.
  • Coach:Provide guidance, assistance and support to help team members improve their skills
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment

What you will bring along:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate degree is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in photolithography processes, with an emphasis on development and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using equipment such as microscopes, calipers, Asher, X-Ray, Beta scope, Alpha step, masking aligners, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, review critical criteria, and follow special instructions.
  • Proficiency in data entry (e.g., quality data/results) and a proven working knowledge of computer usage.
  • Proficient in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize job flows, schedule tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Well-organized and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constantly changing assignment.
  • Experience in handling chemicals.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures.
  • Prior experience working for an ISO 9000 certified company.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a lab environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, talk and listen. May be required to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; bend, stoop, and twist; closely observe items through a microscope, and perform various repetitive fine grasping motions; uses a variety of small hand tools to perform various operations when required; operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. As some visual inspection duties will also be required, specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.), and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals (e.g. alcohol, acetone, acids, solvents and photo resist) or particulate matter.

May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs.
