Since 1975, Omega Flex has been manufacturing and supplying quality engineered flexible metal hose products that meet demanding industrial, commercial and residential applications. We are excited to announce we are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Laboratory Technician to join our team at Omega Flex, Inc.

Are you passionate about engineering, manufacturing, and laboratory testing? This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in material testing, failure analysis, and quality control, supporting engineering and manufacturing divisions across the organization. You will have an opportunity for advancement at your 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month evaluations, then yearly on your hiring anniversary date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as tensile testers and cycle testers.
  • Conduct tests and experiments, recording and analyzing data with precision.
  • Assist in failure analysis of returned materials and contribute to engineering reports.
  • Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineers on product validation, materials testing, and process improvements.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Materials Science, or Manufacturing.
