Merit Calibration Inc. is a growing leader in thermodynamic metrology and calibration services, providing reliable on-site and in-lab support for healthcare providers, laboratories, and other clients. We are committed to precision, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Entry-Level Calibration Technician/Driver to join our team. This hybrid role is 60% driving and 40% technical, ideal for someone with a clean driving record, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn the calibration trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive to client sites throughout California and surrounding states (some overnight travel and air travel required).
  • Perform basic on-site calibration services using hand tools and measurement equipment.
  • Assist in the setup, breakdown, and documentation of calibration jobs.
  • Represent Merit Calibration in a professional manner with clients.
  • Maintain accurate service records and logs.
  • Follow all safety and compliance protocols.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and inspect vehicle regularly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Clean driving record (DMV report required).
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and small equipment.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
