Job Description Sales Coordinator - Erlanger, KYPosition Summary:The Nutrition division of Archer Daniels Midland is searching for a Sales Coordinator for the Central Sales team. This is an entry-level position that will provide exposure and training in: prospecting, quoting & negotiation, product applications, virtual selling, and other sales & marketing activities.Success in the role will allow for advancement through the Nutrition Commercial Organization which includes pathways into Sales, Marketing and Business Management within ADM.This position will report directly to the Central Sales Director. The position will be located in Erlanger, KY.Nutrition offers a range of innovative ingredients for the beverage, food, supplement, and personal care markets.

As a global market leader in food proteins, ADM's Nutrition group also manufactures numerous health and nutrition products, flavors, colors, lecithin, and polyols.The incumbent will be responsible for the following:We are looking for a talented and competitive team member who thrives in a fast paced, complex sales environment with a high level of drive to excel while sharing a willingness to learn amongst a larger sales group.Sourcing and managing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound communication while promoting the entire ADM Nutrition portfolio of ingredients for all targeted market segments.Develop rapport with broader sales team while actively identifying the appropriate placement for new customer leads based on overall product opportunity.Customer management responsibility with sample/opportunity entry, project management, and lead follow up. Maintain working relationships with all cross functional support teams including CD&D, Regulatory, Customer Service, Procurement, Legal, etc. Implement and execute an aggressive, proactive call schedule to increase customer connectivity with sales team.

Use of web based reporting tools and to improve overall sales effectiveness.Maintain thorough product knowledge of all nutrition ingredients. Lead all post-sale administration effortsJob Responsibilities:Prepares targeted approach and process to effectively distribute sales leads and prospects to sales team.Act as power user of customer relationship management systems allowing for management of customer pertinent activity while managing and updating customer activity. Assists in communication and customer support to all assigned team based customersMaintains accurate records of all quotes, sales, activity reports and contract balancesProvide detailed reporting to sales leadership through the use of Salesforce.com and other analytical toolsAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codesMaintains constant contact with all potential customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionJob Requirements:An undergraduate degree is required.A minimum of 1 year of in customer support, customer service or sales (any industry).Ability to build new and existing relationships with key customers, cross functional team members, and sales organization.

Excellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated skill using a cloud based system such as Salesforce.comTeamwork skills--ability to share ideas, work with and assist other members to ensure the success of the team.Strong organization, time management and negotiation skills.Availability to travel within continental North America is required.Position located in Erlanger, KY.Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed? REF:109102BRBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
