Entry Level Job information

What is an entry level job?

Entry level jobs are positions that require minimal professional experience and are typically designed for recent graduates or individuals who are new to a particular field. These roles often provide on-the-job training and opportunities for skill development, making them a great starting point for building a career. Entry level jobs can be found in various industries, such as administration, customer service, marketing, and technology. They usually have lower salary ranges compared to positions that require more experience but offer room for growth and advancement within a company.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in an entry level job?

To thrive in an entry-level job, you generally need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer literacy, and foundational knowledge relevant to the industry. Familiarity with common office software like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and sometimes basic data entry systems is often expected. Strong communication, time management, and a willingness to learn help candidates excel and adapt quickly. These skills and qualities are important as they enable new employees to contribute effectively, learn on the job, and grow within the organization.

What are some common challenges faced by individuals in entry level jobs and how can they be overcome?

Entry-level roles often involve adapting to a new work environment, learning company processes quickly, and managing a variety of tasks with limited experience. One common challenge is balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. To overcome these, it's helpful to seek feedback regularly, take initiative in asking questions, and actively participate in team meetings to build relationships and confidence. Establishing good organizational habits early and being open to continuous learning will set a strong foundation for future advancement.

Job description

Entry Level Client Sales Representative - Work From Home

AO Globe Life | Remote | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Training Included

A Sales Role Built Around Real Conversations

Some sales positions are all about chasing strangers, making endless cold calls, and trying to get someone to answer.

This isn't that type of role.

You'll speak with people who have already expressed interest in learning more about their available benefits. Your job is to have a productive conversation, figure out what matters to them, explain the options available, and help them decide what makes sense for their situation.

The work is done entirely from home using phone and virtual communication.

Your Day May Include

  • Speaking one-on-one with individuals who have requested information
  • Learning what each person is looking for before recommending an option
  • Breaking down insurance and supplemental benefit information in an easy-to-understand way
  • Handling questions and concerns throughout the conversation
  • Preparing and submitting applications when a client chooses to proceed
  • Checking back with individuals when follow-up is appropriate
  • Keeping client information and activity up to date
  • Joining team meetings and product training sessions

This Could Be a Good Fit If You

  • Like having conversations rather than working behind a desk all day
  • Can explain information without making it complicated
  • Are comfortable asking questions and listening to the answers
  • Stay focused when working independently
  • Take ownership of your appointments and follow-ups
  • Are motivated by performance-based compensation
  • Want to develop professional sales experience

A background in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, recruiting, account management, or another people-focused position can be helpful, but insurance experience is not necessary.

The Role Includes

  • 100% work-from-home setup
  • Commission-based compensation
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Weekly pay
  • New-representative training
  • Continued product and sales development
  • Client inquiries and appointments provided
  • No door-to-door solicitation
  • No required in-person client appointments
  • Performance recognition and incentives
  • Potential advancement into leadership positions
  • Health benefits, where applicable

Who We Are

AO Globe Life is part of Globe Life and works with individuals and families seeking life insurance and supplemental health benefit solutions.

Our representatives work directly with clients while developing skills in communication, needs assessment, product presentation, and sales.

Interested in Sales Without the Cold-Calling Grind?

If you communicate well, enjoy working with people, and want a sales position where you can develop your skills while working remotely, submit your application to be considered.

Apply today for the Entry Level Client Sales Representative position.
