Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Programmer, Level I to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to launch their career in information technology and software development. No prior experience is required. Under close supervision, the selected candidate will assist Level II and Level III Programmers in analyzing system requirements, developing software solutions, and contributing to the full application development lifecycle in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under close supervision to assist Level II and Level III Programmers in accomplishing assigned duties
  • Analyze systems requirements and design specifications and develop diagrams and logic charts
  • Translate detailed design specifications into functional computer programs
  • Test, debug, and refine computer programs to produce required products and deliverables
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation
  • Enhance existing programs to reduce execution time and improve overall system efficiency
  • Follow established organizational standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Maintain systems implemented across various IT environments
  • Establish and maintain system security protocols and procedures
  • Participate in and conduct structured project reviews and walk-throughs
  • Provide management with regular status updates on projects, issues, and outstanding project-related concerns
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across all phases of the software development lifecycle

Required Experience
