Opportunity available for Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have experience building microservices, working with Kafka for event-driven applications, and developing against PostgreSQL.


This is a hands-on development role within a collaborative engineering environment, requiring candidates who are comfortable working in a hybrid setting in the Minneapolis area.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Kotlin
  • Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Develop event-driven applications and integrations using Apache Kafka
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases, including application development and data access
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance production applications
  • Collaborate with other software engineers, architects, and technical teams
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and the full software development lifecycle
  • Contribute to scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions
