Job Purpose:
- The Maintenance position at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the store's facilities are kept in pristine condition, contributing to an overall positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and public areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
- Dust shelves and displays to maintain a tidy and organized appearance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of entrances and windows, ensuring they are free of smudges and debris.
- Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and other public areas.
- Follow established safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to management.
- Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and complete them within designated timeframes.
