Job description

We are looking for a reliable Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide front-line technical assistance for employees in Augusta, Georgia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who has a solid IT foundation and wants to strengthen hands-on experience supporting workplace technology. The role focuses on resolving everyday hardware, software, and user access issues while delivering responsive, attentive service.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver first-level technical support for end-user devices, software applications, and routine network connectivity concerns
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting Windows-based desktops, laptops, printers, and other commonly used peripherals
• Prepare, image, configure, and distribute computer equipment to support new and existing employees
• Perform entry-level account administration tasks, including password assistance and basic user support within Active Directory
• Install, update, and troubleshoot standard business software used across the organization
• Record support requests, troubleshooting steps, and final resolutions accurately within the ticket management system
• Communicate with employees in a courteous and service-oriented manner to ensure a positive support experience• Working knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Windows, and general software troubleshooting practices
• Familiarity with Windows 10 support in a business environment
• Exposure to Active Directory for basic account-related tasks is preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot common desktop and end-user technology issues methodically
• Experience documenting and managing incidents through a service desk ticketing system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• CompTIA A+ certification or a comparable entry-level IT credential is an advantage
