Job Title: IT Project Financial Analyst II
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid, Mon - Thur, Fri - Remote)
Duration: 6-Month + (Potential for Extension or Conversion)
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced IT Project Financial Analyst II to support the financial management of a portfolio of enterprise IT projects. In this role, you'll own project budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and cost analysis while partnering closely with Project Managers, the PMO, and Finance teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects stay financially healthy by delivering accurate reporting, actionable insights, and data-driven recommendations.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, estimate-at-completion (EAC), and cash flow projections for multiple IT projects.
  • Analyze project financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support project change requests by evaluating financial impacts, funding requirements, and associated risks.
  • Partner with Finance on capitalization, accruals, funding requests, and month-end close activities.
  • Monitor project financial risks, trends, and portfolio performance.
  • Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting.
  • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with PMO leadership, Project Managers, and Finance to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in project financial analysis, FP&A, project controls, or cost analysis.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting for multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of project accounting concepts, including capital vs. expense, capitalization, and estimate-at-completion (EAC).
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP/project accounting systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the full IT Project Lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards and executive reports.
  • Experience supporting PMO or enterprise IT organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot for reporting and financial analysis.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and continuous improvement.
