We are currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support a major mining and construction project. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this position will provide project coordination and execution support to the Senior Supervisor and Superintendent, helping ensure construction activities are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities and provide day-to-day support to the Senior Supervisor and Superintendent.
  • Support construction execution planning, scheduling, estimating, and resource planning.
  • Track project progress, labour hours, timesheets, equipment, and haul activities.
  • Support earned value tracking and project performance monitoring.
  • Assist with change management and tracking impacts to project scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Superintendents, Project Controls, and construction teams to maintain accurate project information.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, trackers, and progress updates.
  • Support construction planning and execution activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Assist with identifying project issues, schedule impacts, and resource requirements.
  • Support communication and coordination between field teams, engineering, project controls, and management.
Position Details
Rotation: 15 days on / 13 days off
Shift: 12-hour shifts

Flights & Camp: Provided

Flights to site are provided from the following locations:

  • Vancouver
  • Calgary
  • Kelowna
  • Smithers

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in project coordination, preferably within mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong experience supporting construction execution and project planning.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking.
  • Experience tracking timesheets, labour, equipment, or haul activities.
  • Understanding of earned value and change management.
  • Strong ability to work with Project Engineers, Superintendents, Project Controllers, and construction teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
