The IT Asset Management Administrator is responsible for the daily administration and operational execution of the IT asset management (ITAM) program across a distributed healthcare environment. This role ensures that hardware assets are accurately tracked, maintained, and compliant throughout their lifecycle to support clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and cost control objectives.
The Administrator works within established ITAM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to maintain data integrity, support audits, and enable effective asset utilization and financial accountability.
This is a Full Time, remote, IT Asset Management Administrator role.
What You'll Do
  • Execute day-to-day lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement intake, deployment tracking, transfers, and retirement activities.
  • Maintain accurate asset records within ITAM systems (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring completeness, correctness, and timeliness of data.
  • Reconcile asset inventories by coordinating with Service Desk, IT Implementations, Endpoint Engineering, and other technical teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support IT asset audits, compliance checks, and reporting activities to meet internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, financial controls).
  • Assist in tracking asset utilization, lifecycle status, and depreciation data to support financial reporting and planning.
  • Generate and distribute standard operational reports and dashboards on asset inventory, compliance, and lifecycle status.
  • Follow established ITAM processes and contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide customer support and act as a point of contact for asset-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.

What You'll Bring
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory management, or related IT operations role in a mid-to-large enterprise.
  • Working knowledge of ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, JAMF, Lansweeper, or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of IT hardware lifecycle, inventory control, and asset tracking practices.
  • Familiarity with procurement workflows, receiving processes, and asset tagging standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage large datasets and identify discrepancies.
  • Basic understanding of compliance, audit, and financial tracking requirements related to IT assets.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • ITIL Foundation or ITAM certification is a plus.
