Job Summary/Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator provides entry-level administrative support for corporate safety, compliance, and employee wellness programs. Working under established procedures and the guidance of Human Resources, Safety, Risk Management, and other subject matter experts, this role maintains confidential records, tracks program activities and deadlines, prepares routine reports, supports communications, and coordinates with internal teams, field locations, vendors, and employees.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion. The coordinator escalates exceptions, complex questions, and compliance concerns to the appropriate subject matter expert.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety and Compliance Program Support
  • Maintain confidential safety, risk management, driver compliance, training, and inspection records.
  • Process and track initial and recurring MVR checks, driver credentials, documentation, and compliance status in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review MVR reports for defined exceptions and escalate concerns to the HR Generalist; the coordinator does not make employment decisions.
  • Support safety and risk-management systems, including user access, record updates, training assignments, overdue-item monitoring, routine inquiries, and troubleshooting.
  • Track safety training, compliance with deadlines, and follow-up items; prepare routine report as needed.
  • Support safety campaigns, training initiatives, communications, and AED program administration, including inventory, orders, records, and compliance reviews.

Wellness Program Support
  • Provide administrative support for wellness campaigns, communications, and educational initiatives.
  • Coordinate wellness swag distribution, vendor coordination, and follow-up.
  • Maintain wellness calendar, vendor information, program materials, and documentation.
  • Track program participation, prepare routine summaries, and escalate discrepancies or questions in accordance with established guidelines.

Communications and Administrative Support
  • Draft routine program communications, monitor shared mailboxes, respond to basic inquiries, and escalate complex or sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Maintain calendars, trackers, contact lists, reference materials, and other program administration tools.
  • Coordinate routine meetings, communications, and follow-up with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Identify process gaps and share improvement suggestions; perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, risk management, safety, public health, wellness, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; intermediate Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time-management, data-entry, follow-up, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, work independently, and manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and escalation protocols and learn software platforms, databases, reporting tools, and tracking systems.
  • Experience supporting a department or cross-functional program; maintaining records or trackers; using HR, safety, risk-management, or learning-management systems; or coordinating events, communications, or vendors preferred.
