Job description

Who are we?
Cell Tech Inc. is one of the largest service providers for the K-12 sector in the US. Our commitment to innovation drives us to develop cutting-edge solutions that empower our clients. To achieve this, we build and utilize proprietary software focused on automation and user-friendliness. As our company grows, so does ourteam!

As an Inventory Clerk, you will be a key part of our workshop operations and play an important role in supporting our mission to serve educators. You will support our inventory control team in managing replacement computer parts throughout the entire inventory process-from receiving and labeling to auditing, stocking, and shipping.

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and interested in technology. We are looking for an enthusiastic learner with strong multitasking abilities, basic problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude. If you are eager to start or grow your career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify parts and quantities for accuracy.
  • Enter inventory information accurately into computer systems and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Label, organize, shelve, and stock replacement computer parts.
  • Perform physical inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliation.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies and assist with resolving issues.
  • Pick, prepare, and ship parts according to workshop and customer requirements.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient inventory and storage area.
  • Support the inventory control team with daily workshop operations and changing priorities.
  • Handle computer parts and inventory carefully to maintain product quality and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and customer-service goals.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and willing to learn. You should be comfortable working with computers, performing data entry, handling physical inventory, and balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

You do not need to be a technology expert. An interest in computers and a willingness to learn our inventory processes, systems, and procedures are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic technical knowledge and ability to operate computers and perform accurate data entry.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility in job duties and willingness to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of inventory clerk, warehouse, stockroom, or related experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience working with computer parts, electronics, inventory systems, or warehouse operations is a plus.

Benefits & Growth Opportunities

Career Growth:
Gain hands-on experience with inventory control procedures, computer parts, and workshop operations. Employees may also have opportunities to expand their technical knowledge through projects and optional manufacturer-provided technology courses.

Overtime Opportunities:
Optional overtime opportunities may be available while school is in session, based on customer and operational needs.

Why Join Us?

This position is an opportunity to build practical experience in inventory management and technology operations while contributing to work that supports educators and their technology needs. Whether you already have inventory experience or are looking for an entry point into the field, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and grow with our team.
