Store Inventory Assistant

Catbird is looking for an entry level Inventory Assistant & Sales Associate for our Soho store. The position is full time and one weekend day availability is a must.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, tag, and maintain inventory throughout the store and in backstock - Oversee and maintain an organized back of house space - Maintain a deep understanding of customer habits, and be able to assist customers during busy times during the day. - Pick and pack in store pick ups as needed - Restock merchandise on the floor daily and optimize floor space - Maintain store signage - Compile, organize and communicate inventory needs to merchandise managers - Handle in store pick up (ISPU) communication - Tag product when and if needed - Communicate daily through EOD emails, priorities, results, focuses for the product of the store. - Check quality, quantity, and accuracy of incoming inventory - Perform routine checks on current inventory to ensure accurate stock levels - Ad hoc administrative tasks - Partner with store management to conduct quarterly inventory
