Job description

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Yard Driver will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. This is an entry-level, full-time position offering $26.50 Hourly, with OT, along with career growth and advancement opportunities. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in Kimball, NE.  Must have Yellow-Iron HEO: payloader, backhoe, front/back-end loader, excavator etc.)

 4- 12-hour rotating (6a-6p days/6p-6a nights) shifts per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Operates industrial equipment, included but not limited to forklift
  • Performs general labor throughout the facility to preparing materials for the incineration process
  • Ensures the safety of him or herself as well as those around them
  • Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury
  • Follows all standard operating procedures 
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent- required
  • Previous experience with industrial or manual labor 
  • Yellow-Iron HEO: Payloader, backhoe, front/back end loader, excavator etc.
  • Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat)
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • DOT Training
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
  • Climb on and off forklifts
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
  • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Punctuality and attendance consistent
  • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
  • An excellent commitment to health and safety
  • Accountability; punctuality
  • Background check, drug screen and physical- required
  • Must work rotating shifts Days/Nights 
  • Valid US DL
