Although previous operational security experience is ideal, we welcome applications from anyone with related experience and skills (e.g. research, customer service or business management) who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This includes recent graduates with a demonstrated interest in the security industry. Sibylline offers GSOC Operators a clear and established career progression pathway towards becoming skilled Intelligence Analysts within the private sector.ย ย The hours for this night shift position are:ย 11:00PM/11:30PM to 07:00AM/07:30AM Thursday - Monday.

Qualifications

Essential Functions / Responsibilitiesย 

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensureย timelyย response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service on their relevant shift.ย 

  • Ensure all forms of communication, such as emails, phone conversations, and personal interactions, are conducted in a confidential, courteous, and professional manner and documented appropriately.ย 

  • Maintain knowledge of GSOC-specific standard operating procedures.ย 

  • Manage life-safety, alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions at designated locations.ย 

  • Investigate and respond to alarms promptly.ย 

  • Evaluate and process information received from all available sources and respond withย appropriate communicationย and dispatch procedures.ย 

  • Communicate security issues or emergencies by escalating information to department leadership, local law enforcement, emergency services, such as EMT, fire departments, etc.ย 

  • Participates regularly in security/safety training programs to stay current on critical GSOC responsibilities and competencies inclusive of drills and tabletop exercises.ย 

  • Other duties as assigned.ย

Work Environment/Physical Requirementsย 

This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in an on-site office environmentย utilizingย a computer and standard office equipment.
