Job description

Doctor's Data, Inc. is looking for a quality conscious individual to fill an entry level position in our clinical laboratory as a Sample Prep Technician on our first shift in our Chemistry Department located in Saint Charles, Illinois.

Job Requirements:

  • Required: Associate’s degree in a clinical, laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or degree in medical technology from an accredited institution
  • Ability to pipette with accuracy and experience with conducting basic laboratory procedures
  • Ability to complete assignments and multitask with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in written and oral form
  • Ability to read and comprehend science documents
  • Ability to perform scientific math equations including the following: ratios, percentages, dilutions and conversions
  • Familiarization with Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills
  • Previous microscope experience preferred
  • Must be able to meet attendance requirements and have flexibility in scheduling.
  • Must be comfortable in handling human specimens and have a high regard for safety and good laboratory practices.
  • Color vision is required
  • Ability to work 1st shift M-F 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
