The role...
You will provide a full range of manufacturing support to 3rd Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: General machine set-up and troubleshooting, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaboration with team members throughout the facility.
Overtime: May be required depending on machine / area, volunteer opportunities, cross training opportunities.
How you'll make an impact...
  • Set up machine(s) per customer/order specification (make-to-order products)
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls and components
  • Read job specs and apply to the job
  • Communicate with other departments to request raw materials and supplies to eliminate the need for downtime
  • Document and explain all production data according to procedures
  • Observe the operation of the machine to detect and correct machine malfunctions
  • Maintain clean work environment
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Complete routine maintenance on assigned tools, devices, and equipment
  • Adhere to company safety regulations
  • Note: Other duties may be required

What do you bring...
  • High School Diploma or GED required, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic and geometry (testing required)
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer (testing required)
  • Physical requirement - lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing approximately 50 lbs. Ability to push and pull 50 lbs on own.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment
  • Physical requirement to work in an non-climate controlled environment
  • Ability to train others and willingness to cross train
