Join our Dahl Automotive team as a Entry-Level Automotive Technician at our state-of-the-art 10-bay Quick Lane facility located in Onalaska, WI! In this important, fast-paced position, you will perform oil changes, tire rotations, top off fluids and other light maintenance work.  You will grow, develop and be trained to perform more complex work over time, with a career path to the main shop if you're interested!

The Quick Lane has both entry-level opportunities and opportunities for those who have previous automotive experience. We invite all those interested to apply!

Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations and other light maintenance on vehicles.
  • Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
  • Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of automobiles
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
