OVERVIEW

We're currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Electrical Technicians to join our growing team.

Hours: 6:00PM-6:30AM


12 Hour Continental - Rotating schedule for entire year - Work HALF the YEAR!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for taking the lead in solving electronic, instrumentation, PLC and any other electrical issues in the plant This role will support the maintenance and engineering teams with planned maintenance task and plant projects. In addition, the Electrical technician will be responsible for assisting with continuous improvement and Perfetti Performance Excellence projects. Additional responsibilities include: 

    Perform all assigned predictive and preventive maintenance task.
    Troubleshoot electrical, SCADA, information technology, and instrumentation systems.
    Works collaboratively with Safety to identify hazards and to ensure safe work practices.
    Maintains the quality of electrical work by conducting regular inspections..
    Maintains accurate records of all electrical work, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports..
    Troubleshoot and repair all electrical issues with plant production equipment.
    Support the facilities maintenance team as needed.
    Support the shift Maintenance team with mechanical repairs as directed by the maintenance lead.
    Support the controls engineering team by assisting with high speed flow wrappers, vertical baggers, and pick and place robots.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  Associate's degree or 3 years of electrical experience working with high speed packaging and robotic equipment required. 
    Hands on experience with motor and motion controls, variable frequency drives, and HMI's
    3+ years of food manufacturing experience is preferred.
    PLC/Instrumentation experience Preferred
    Functional knowledge of SAP preferred.
    Masters/Journeyman license preferred. 
    Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills.
    Knowledge of NFPA70E preferred
    Good negotiation, process improvement, and strong quantitative skills.
    Knowledge of high voltage 3 phase electric (460/240) and low voltage control systems
    Strong ability to multitask and prioritize daily activities and plant priorities.
    A passion for learning and the desire to grow in the organization, potentially across functions.
