Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer/Technologist based in Calgary, Edmonton or remotely.As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer/Technologist, you will be responsible for the entire I&C scope of projects of various sizes across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

  • Create I&C design documents including system architectures, network diagrams, I/O wiring diagrams, cable diagrams, control narratives etc.
  • Prepare instrumentation datasheets and perform technical bid evaluations
  • Redline, review and approve project drawings and documents to ensure they meet company and client specifications
  • Perform and support FAT (factory acceptance test), IO checkout, loop tests, functional tests, and SAT (site acceptance test)
