POSITION SUMMARY
The 12v Electrician will route wires for the fire apparatus equipment as directed by wire diagrams and other technical drawings. They will be required to install 12v accessories such as sensers and lights. The 12v Electrician will also be expected to fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
  1. Routes 12v electrical wires to equipment and follows a wire diagram.
  2. Connects lights, hose reals and other accessories to electrical box.
  3. Fabricates boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint.
  4. Communicates with fabricators to have a complete installation.
  5. Fabricates wire harnesses to complete installation as needed.
  6. Utilizes basic hand tools as needed to complete objectives.
  7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, and tape measure.
