JOB SUMMARY
Serves as an entry-level analyst supporting the development of reports, dashboards, and other reporting resources for Ambulatory Leadership. Assists the Ambulatory Analytics team with entry-level data analysis for clinical performance improvement and operational decision-making. Collaborates with reporting partners to support department goals and objectives.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or other relevant field or
    Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or other relevant field
  • Experience
    3 years of data analysis experience in a healthcare setting including demonstrated proficiency in statistical and data visualization tools similar to, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Bi, Tableau, or SQL with Bachelor's Degree or
    1 year of data analysis experience in a healthcare setting including demonstrated proficiency in statistical and data visualization tools similar to, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Bi, Tableau, or SQL with Master's Degree
Preferred
  • Experience
    Experience with electronic medical record software such as Epic preferred.

JOB DUTIES
  • Collects, analyzes, and visualizes clinical and non-clinical data for Ambulatory projects and initiatives. Extracts and organizes information from a wide variety of sources including but not limited to: medical records, financial data, telecom systems, and workforce metrics.
  • Works with team members on the creation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and other reporting resources for Ambulatory initiatives. Assists in the routine reporting activities, and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary workgroups and provides analytical and statistical support for clinic performance improvement initiatives. Effectively interprets, summarizes, and communicates insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serves as a communication liaison between clinic leaders, workgroups, and other reporting partners. Builds and sustains successful relationships with clinic staff and leadership and meets with them regularly to support reporting needs.
  • Identifies gaps, trends, and optimization opportunities in reporting resources. Inspects and validates new or updated reporting resources and performs quality control checks to ensure integrity and quality of data.
  • Assists team members with timely responses to requests, obtaining clarifying information, and tracking deadlines.
  • Produces comprehensive documentation on tasks and requests including project requirements, business rules, progress notes, proposed solutions, and amount of time spent on each task.
  • Participates in clinical and technical professional development training and maintains required certifications and proficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
