Job description

Artheon is seeking an entry level Bridge Inspector/Diver to join our team in Berlin, NJ.
As a Bridge Inspector/Diver, you will work on a variety of bridge inspection projects, including NBIS, minor, and complex bridges for clients such as NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority, and other agencies. The position offers a mix of office and field work, from leading a team to perform on-site bridge inspections in various locations within NJ.   • Plan, perform, and supervise underwater bridge inspections in accordance with NBI Standards and all safety guidelines. 
  • Physical ability to perform field work year-round in adverse weather conditions and work around bridges, roads, rail, and tunnels
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and web-based software to update asset information and generate inspection reports. 
  • Utilize MicroStation or CAD software to generate field sketches.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Entry level. Interest in underwater inspection, bridge inspection, or structural engineering. 
  • Certification: Must have ACDE Commercial Diver Certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experienced with MicroStation or other CAD software.
  • Knowledge: Dive safety planning and regulations. Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime (Hourly).
The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
