Job description
At Soucy, you can find the perfect balance between office work and field work! As a process technician, you’ll have the opportunity to continually learn more about our manufacturing process, helping us meet our customers’ highest quality standards. Your main role? Developing formulations and ensuring the performance of rubber processing methods in both production and development-a stimulating challenge that matches your expertise! To help you succeed, you’ll collaborate with manufacturing engineering, operations, and product engineering.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Monitor the performance of rubber processing operations
- Develop and update manufacturing formulas
- Be responsible for process optimization to help achieve established quality and productivity goals
- Act as a key person in managing production failures by taking a systematic approach to identifying root causes
- Participate in design reviews for new tracks, new equipment, and the tooling required for track manufacturing
- Maintain adequate documentation of production interventions and process development
