Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Schedule office visits and procedures (injections, nerve blocks, RFAs, etc.)
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
  • Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Medical Billing & Coding Duties:

  • Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
  • Submit and track insurance claims (electronic and manual)
  • Manage prior authorizations for pain management procedures
  • Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and submit appeals
  • Post payments and reconcile accounts receivable
