Commercial Lines Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Agent to join a growing team. As a key member of an agency, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. The agency specializes in providing a wide range of insurance solutions, including commercial, personal, and group benefits, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and a family-like culture.
Compensation Package
  • Base Salary: $2,200 - $3,000 per month for entry-level candidates; higher compensation available for experienced professionals.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales by growing the book of business and bringing in new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
  • Work on a variety of accounts, with a focus on commercial lines, including contractors.
  • Handle accounts ranging from small to large, with some exceeding $100,000 in premium.
  • Collaborate with a team of licensed professionals to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in insurance production is highly preferred.
    • Open to candidates with captive insurance experience.
    • Entry-level candidates with a strong drive to succeed will also be considered.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-focused mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with insurance software is a plus.
